Steve

Jon,

This was my first Missouri MAHA tom this year…taken on Opening Day…. After I shot him…I thought he had two beards…but after he dried out after getting him home…I discovered he had three beards…10 inches…7 inches…and 3 ¾ inches…another testament to some great game on some great property…sorry about the head…but he got a bit too close.

It was a wonderful season…one we will never forget!!!

Thanks again! Steve

Jon,

The birds were very vocal this morning unlike the last few hunts…and this guy put on a show trying to mount one of our DSD hen decoys.

Just a fabulous turkey season…and again…my hats off to you and the MAHA staff for all that you do…so we can enjoy the outdoors with our family.

Thanks again!!! Steve

Jon,

Another nice Missouri tom…shot right after fly down…another testimony to quality MAHA habitat.

Thanks again! Steve

Jon,

The new habitat you have acquired over the last year is INCREDIBLE…the results…another nice tom…after harvesting this bird, I drove and scouted several of the new properties via binoculars…the results…six different toms…and several hens…my hats off to Jon and John for your hard work…and we can’t forget Shaun..who is just amazing in taking reservations.

Thanks again! Steve

Jon,

Just wanted to thank you for the wonderful habitat you provide us to enjoy each and every year.

This beautiful tom was not a big bird…22 ½ pounds…and only 6/8” and 7/8 inch spurs…however he possessed an 11 5/8” paintbrush beard.

Only achievable due to great habitat MAHA provides and the genetics of these magnificent birds.

Thanks again! Steve

Hi John,
Not as many tags as last year, but we continued our enjoyment of hunting some of the finest land in the Midwest. Actually hunted seven different states this season and just had a ball chasing gobblers. Birds were taken with bow, 12 and 20 gauge shotguns.

The real highlights were the amount and variety of game seen on the MAHA properties. We had some great close encounters with developing bucks, pheasant, etc. and we entertained gobbling birds (or vice versa) on EVERY hunt on MAHA property.

Since you've seen enough of me and my boys….thought I’d highlight some fine call makers with birds harvested from MAHA land in two different states. The pot calls are made by Steve Reeves of Supreme Turkey Calls in Georgia and the box call is made by Irwin Whitt of South Carolina. Also a plug for Hooks Calls whose diaphragms I use from Batesville, Arkansas.

And of course our hats off to you and Jon and Shaun for your continued tremendous support!!!

Thanks again! Steve
