SC Kansas has had some timely rainfall the last couple of months, so the cover and crops look good. It’s a little early for an upland bird report but the conditions are encouraging.
A CRP field that has been with the Association for 18 years. For those that like to tromp the CRP grass, it will be big and thick this fall!
Typically, during mid-August the dryland crops which are not irrigated are showing some stress from the heat. This year the majority of the crops are looking good, especially the milo and beans.
