Last week we had some heavy rainfall that pushed Big Creek and the South Grand River out of its banks. The millet we planted in Henry County was covered with water. We opened the drain pipes at Henry D and the #3 wade-in area at Henry B hoping to save some of the millet. We have plenty of millet if we need to replant some.

All of this wet weather has held us back from discing and planting some food plots in Linn County. The worse case  scenario will be to mow a couple of shooting pools and flood the natural vegetation that Mother Nature has given to us. The good news is we have plenty of water at this time.
