Upland Bird
We’ve had a steady flow of upland bird hunters in the field throughout the season in all 3 states. The warm dry weather continues but it looks like a cold front is moving in around Christmas time. Wild pheasant hunting in warm windy weather is very difficult, but quail reports in all regions have been positive.
Gunner
Like all types of hunting in the Association those that put in the effort and work hard find success. With upland bird hunting a good dog has a major impact upon a hunter’s success.
