Alyssa’s 2016 late season muzzleloader buck
Today is the last day of Kansas archery deer and tomorrow is the last day of Missouri muzzleloader season. We had a solid system of rain move in which will make the back roads even muddier.
This past weekend we had an overlap of deer seasons in all three states. In Iowa we had only 1 archery and 2 muzzleloader deer hunters. In Kansas we had 6 archery hunters. In Missouri we had 14 muzzleloader and 4 archery deer hunters.
Iowa archery and muzzleloader season runs until January 10th and Missouri archery season is open till January 15. We’ve seen some impressive late season success this year. Hopefully, we’ll hear some more over the next couple of weeks.
