Deer
Jon Sr., Jon Jr., and Susie,
I wanted to reach out and let you know how thankful I am to to have the opportunity to access and hunt so much quality land just a short drive from where I live. As I was sitting in the stand this last Sunday on the last day of my season, I was disappointed that I wasn’t able to achieve my goal of killing a mature buck this season, but as 20+ deer filtered out into the corn, I couldn’t help but be extremely thankful for the opportunities I’ve had this season. After graduating college and moving away from my home state of Nebraska, I had put down my bow for a considerable period of time as I traveled and worked. I was very fortunate to hear about the MAHA organization and pick up my bow again a couple of years ago. I was truly obsessed with bow hunting when I was growing up in Nebraska, and have found that obsession all over again thanks to the opportunities that MAHA provides!
I’ve attached a few of my favorite photos from this season. Now it’s time to get some practice in and get ready for Spring turkeys!
Thanks again!
Eric
