The snow was way worse than I had expected. It was up to my hips in spots. I had to park along the highway. The good news is that the deer were easy to spot, and it was nasty cold, so they were moving for most of the day. I decided to take two yearlings knowing the drag out was going to be miserable…and it was. I won’t be doing that again for a LONG time, if ever.
