Upland Bird
Hunted in (delete) counties was fantastic this weekend. We moved over 10 coveys on in (delete) counties and shot several pheasants as well (seeing literally close to a hundred flush wild). (delete) county we didn’t hunt as hard but managed to move 4 coveys. We left most coveys in good shape (poor gun work leads to great conservation), coveys in (delete) county were still very large 15 plus birds. (delete) county had on average slightly smaller covey sizes. I am really enjoying hunting quail cover, with the addition of a pointer to my team.
Thank you very much for the enthusiastic report. It appears we have a lot of seed to work with this spring. We’ve had a considerably mild winter, so let’s cross are fingers for a similar spring and summer weather conditions.
