Fish
If you have a young one that wants to catch some easy fish try Cass B pond 4 b. Last week it appeared the green sunfish were spawning close to the main irrigation station. Once the vegetation sets in it will be impossible to fish from the shore. Also, it is overpopulated with small bass so they are easy pickings right now. Feel free to keep some to eat.
Last spring we stocked 4 b with fathead minnows, fingerling bass, bluegill and crappie. This spring we added some more crappie and bluegill. We plan to move some small bass from 4 a to 4 b but need to wait until the fingerlings grow a little, which should be this fall.
In a couple of years pond 4 b should be a prime MAHA fishing lake.
