November 28, 2022 Update

Henry County, Missouri

We had a 2 plus inch rain Saturday that greatly helped the water levels on our Henry County managed wetlands.

Henry B Wade-in #2 area full.

Intake pipe (POOR MAN’S PUMP) to Henry B Wade-in #3 area. Pool will be full today.

The water levels on blinds #4 and #5 in Henry B are good also.

Henry A blind #2 flooded full. Big Creek backed up pretty good, but it should be back down in the next 24 hours.

Blind #2 the last week of October. A volatile wetland to say the least.

Henry D is about 1/3 full, but that’s still a lot of water. The best-looking water and vegetation would be the south end of the island on the Wade-in #3 area and the SE corner of the lake, where the map says CAUTION DEEP WATER.

The water level on the Cass A and Cass B lakes are looking good also and the crops have all been cut.

The majority of waterfowl reservations are for weekends. Lets attempt to utilize the waterfowl leases on the weekdays like the deer and upland hunters do.
