Kansas Firearms Deer
This weekend is opening weekend for the Kansas Firearms and Iowa Shotgun deer season . We have approximately 60 deer hunters in Kansas and 10 in Iowa. Many of them are hunting in popular upland bird regions like Kiowa, Norton and Republic counties. The roads are muddy and there is more rain in the forecast. Unmaintained back roads are impassible when it is wet. When in doubt don’t attempt to drive muddy roads. For all of those participating please be safe and good luck!
