Linn County, Missouri

Just like last summer Parson Creek has flooded multiple times preventing us from planting corn, milo or soybeans. The south side of the west marsh was drained, and a good stand of volunteer millet was established from last year’s seed.

The landowner disced a couple acres on the east side and planted millet with his drone. We were fortunate to get a timely rain for the fresh seed to sprout.

On a positive note, despite the excessive rainfall, we have a lot of water, and the holding lake is ready for use.
