Henry A Wetland Work
We installed a Stoplog Structure in Henry A this past weekend. The slough west of the levee rises consistently and we will now be able to drain Winkler’s Lake and plant every year and fill the lake through the intake pipe, which is similar to the intake and drain system wade-in 3 area in Henry B.
There is a 6-to-8-foot hole in front of blind 1, so treat it like you are hunting one of the irrigation lakes in Cass County. Nest year we will fill the hole, so BE CAUTIOS of deep water in front of blind 1 during the 2024-25 season.
