I was fortunate enough to tag out and harvested a very nice, mature, 8 point. Unfortunately for me, I had an antlerless tag to fill and went the next day with only an antlerless tag….and wouldn’t you know, what would’ve been the biggest buck of my life stepped out. I could only take pictures through the rifle scope!! Very rewarding hunt though, and it was nice to take the time to appreciate a big, beautiful buck like that one was. I’ll be back next year to see if he comes back!
