Deer Hunting
Hi Susie! I got your text and wanted to send you and Jon a recount of our 2025 hunt. First of all I want to say how glad I was to be back in the Midwest, I truly missed it. Our archery hunt portion was awesome. Great hunting with all three of us seeing a lot of deer and some awesome mature bucks. No shots at the big boys but Aaron tagged an older buck with a drop tine on the right side. We didn’t do a lot of firearms hunting as all three of us tagged out on the first day. We all shot bucks chasing doe in 80 degree weather hunting in our tree stands in tee shirts! We were staying at an awesome Airbnb that had a carport to hang our deer and take care of the meat. Didn’t get many good field photos, but l will attach a few of our deer. Thanks to Mid America for providing the opportunity to hunt great property’s and can’t wait for the 2026 season! Bob
