Food Plots

The Japanese millet seed job in Henry B took good. This is the first time in over 10 years we were able to drain the north wade-in area and plant some millet.

Last weekend, the landowner in Linn Co. seeded the north ½ of the west marsh with millet by drone. The next day they had a 1.3” rain and the seed took.

Henry D was also drained down and there is a nice stand of smartweed developing.

Hopefully, we’ll have some good feed for the ducks this fall, which is just around the corner.
