Caleb was able to execute a scoot-n-shoot stalk on a nice Tom and enjoyed some nice cat fishing in the creek afterward. That farm is traditionally crawling with turkeys and it seemed the numbers were a bit thinner this year.
I was able to take this Tom just after fly down in (delete). Spent 2 days total on that property and saw/heard multiple Toms.
Some great properties you have leased in Kansas. Never disappointed with our hunts.
On a related front. Tick related diseases are out there and they are serious. We are very diligent about that when hunting in the spring, but Caleb overlooked it on a separate fishing trip and ended up 2 days in ICU, including a spinal tap!
