Deer
I had a wonderful time deer hunting this fall. Had some close encounters and the day before opening gun I missed a dandy mature buck on (delete). I had to change hotels that night and drove to (delete)…only to realize I left some gear in the hotel…drove all the way there and back to the Super 8. Then it hit me I still haven’t got a tag to hunt the next day. Go online….it’s down, call in….give up after 45 min. Go to Walmart and manage to get one. Got it barely.
30 min of sleep and headed to the lease. I watched some dinks chase a doe or two all morning and at 9:30 this guy pops out at 100 yrs and it was over. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and thank you for the opportunity! Unfortunately this yr I have to play it safe because of trying to get a business off the ground. I may yet join but just have to play it by ear. Fully plan to again in the future. Best wishes to you and the great MAHA.
