Waterfowl
By tradition, Thanksgiving to X-Mass has been peak migration around MAHA land, but it can be cold and turn into a tough man hunt. Up to this point we’ve had reports of mostly small ducks but heard from some deer hunters there was a push of mallards over the weekend. Once again, this season most reservations have been for the weekends.
Deer
We have 2 days left in the Missouri firearms deer season and clubs most popular event will be behind us. The weather was cooperative this year and MDC is predicting above average or record breaking numbers. A lot of crops are still standing in all 3 states so late season hunting should be favorable.
