The photos below were taken this week at the Loess Bluffs National Wildlife Refuge, formerly Squaw Creek in Holt County Missouri. The last count at the refuge was 972,000 geese. It’s a site to see if you have been there. MAHA has 4,200 of cropland in Holt and Atchison County. Several farms as a crow flies are 2 to 3 miles east of the refuge.
