Goose Hunting
FYI Over this past week we’ve seen some geese move into a couple of our wetlands, both white and dark geese.

Canada Geese flushing from the west marsh in Linn A. The photo only includes ¼ of the birds that were on the marsh.
A flock of Trumpeter Swans on the holding lake in Linn A. There was also a flock mixed in with the snow geese in Cass B. A big reminder to everyone Trumpeter Swans are NOT LEGAL to shoot!!
If anyone is interested in field hunting white geese during the Light Goose Conservation Order this spring the fields in Atchison and Holt County Missouri can be very productive at times.
